Unveiling of China Information Business Center in Novosibirsk Oblast: Chairman Sun Hehong Meets with Minister of Economic Development

On May 23, the unveiling ceremony of the China (Shandong) Information Business Center in Novosibirsk Oblast, Russia, and the Industrial Cooperation Docking Meeting were held. Attendees included Lev Reshetnikov, Minister of Economic Development of Novosibirsk Oblast; Dmitry Korekhanov, Deputy Director of the Siberian Customs Administration and Director of the Federal Customs Revenue Service; Sergei Sokolov, Advisor to the Governor of Novosibirsk Oblast; Zhang Qingwei, Deputy Director of the Shandong Provincial Department of Commerce; and Zhang Xinzhu, Member of the Standing Committee of the Qingdao Municipal Party Committee and Secretary of the Party Working Committee of the SCO Demonstration Zone. Sun Hehong, Chairman of Guohetong, was invited to attend.

Chairman Sun Hehong met with Lev Reshetnikov, Minister of Economic Development of Novosibirsk Oblast, and the two sides held in-depth discussions and reached a consensus on establishing a Special Economic Zone Overseas Warehouse Center.

Located in Novosibirsk Oblast—Russia’s largest transportation hub—the center boasts a strategic location, just a 2-day drive from both Moscow and China. This prime geographic position will serve as a pre-positioned hub to shorten vehicle supply cycles and enable pre-sale arrangements for customers, supporting the overseas market expansion of Chinese OEMs (original equipment manufacturers).

As one of the first national demonstration enterprises for supply chain innovation and a leading private enterprise in Qingdao, Guohetong will leverage this opportunity to deepen China-Russia cooperation through logistics supply chain integration. The company will continue to strengthen, supplement, and extend the vehicle and equipment industry chains, contributing to China’s "automobile export" strategy.
